A message from Shovana Williams 

We are a family company, and we have never felt more like a family as we come together during this trying time. We hope it’s the same for all of you. On a daily basis, we are so moved to hear the stories of kindness and connection happening with our clients, team members and vendor partners.


Our team members and our clients continue to be nothing short of amazing.


We thank our team members and vendor partners who continue to serve every day with a positive attitude, ready to deliver incredible service, equipped with the most up-to-date trusted science to protect themselves, and our clients. Our clients support us every day, taking time to recognize our team and encouraging us to keep going, which truly makes a HUGE difference.


We understand this is a trying time for everyone. We are extremely grateful for the way people—our suppliers, vendor partners, clients and community partners—are pulling together to help.

All along, we have followed the guidance of the CDC for the latest trusted advice. Most recently, they are advising that the application of masks may prevent the spread of the virus. We are fortunate to have secured enough masks to make it possible for our team members and vendor partners to adhere to this advice. As we continue to follow the highest standards for social distancing, sanitation, we are confident in the measures we’ve taken to keep our clients, and event space, safe during this time. We thank you for your support as we continue to learn and ensure progress is made daily.


As the world around us continues to change at a rapid pace, we continue to make decisions with the most up-to-date science in mind, while always leading with our hearts. We express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you.

As we transition from quarantine, to the reopening of businesses, we wanted to share what we've been up-to. We've been adopting, adhering and implementing, to ensure our team and clients, stay well. Reinventing our operations has been crucial to ensuring food safety, quality of presentation, and safe services. All while ensuring that we're in alignment with the United States Government Plan for reopening and the CDC guidelines for restaurants and bars



 We encourage our team members  and clients to take additional steps to protect themselves and those around them. Here's how

  • Wellness Checks – We are now requiring employees to go through a wellness check before the start of each event. To included a  Non-Contact Infrared Forehead Digital Thermometer fever check. If anyone exhibits any ill symptoms will be asked to go home (with pay) and contact a medical provider.

  • Social Distancing – We ask that our team members comply with keeping themselves, and you, the client well. By staying  “a cart apart,” roughly six feet from each other.

  • Company Engraved Masked- All EAC Team members will be issued a company mask prior to their shift. 

  • Hand Sanitizer- A Touch Free Hand Sanitizer Dispenser Stand will be available not only at our warehouses and kitchen spaces, but one would be delivered on-site of each event for team members use only! All team members will sanitize their hands prior to accessing work and venue space prior to the start of their shift.

So you can enjoy your event and not worry about the unexpected. 

Effective June 1, 2020, all events booked with Extravagant Affairs Catering will need to purchase event insurance to cover their event. Event day insurance price points will vary from $63-$150 (pricing is subject to event type, location,  anticipated guest count, and a few other event questions.)
